Which way to the Post?

Today I woke up on a mission to find 2 boxes that I was suppose to receive on Saturday. I knew that they were at a Korea Post Office but I did not know which one. And I f I could get to the right post would they give me a box that was addressed to a receiving company and not to me. I timed my morning to arrive at the closest Korea Post when the doors opened at 9am. After an enjoyable conversation with the gal at the desk, one in which she spoke broken English while I spoke broken Korean, She sent me on a trip to the Seochen Post where I would find the boxes waiting. She even wrote down directions for me to follow to get there via Subway. So there I was in the subway with directions that provided land marks and stations in Korean symbols. Some how I managed to find my way through the subway on the correct trains. It was when I got off the train that the real confusion set in. Looking an area map at a bus stop I could only find one Post office so I trekked it there and after walking past it twice I finally found the door. I went in waited 20 min in line so that I could be told that I was in the YangJae Post and I wanted the Seochen Post. I asked for the address and had a cab take me to the Seochen Post. When I got to the Post I noticed that it was 10:30am and that I had to catch a train at 1pm so I began to fret a bit but did my best to maintain my composure. The guy behind the counter kept telling me that the boxes were out for delivery. I asked if he could check further and after making a few calls. He motioned for me to follow him. Then I was lead through a narrow hallway and up a back stairwell to the fourth floor. We walked though about 10 or so rooms the into a corner office. We were met by a very disgruntled man who pointed at 2 boxes on the ground. In that moment I could have bear hugged these Korean gentlemen but decided that restraint was the best course of action. I lugged the boxes out and hopped a cab just in time to get to the hotel around 11:45am. Enough time to check out by 12 and catch my 1 o’clock train. For now that is all for Seoul we’ll see what Busan has to offer.
